The website for Darlington SING Community Choir. Our choir has been running since September 2012 and now has around 70 paid up members, of whom about 40-50 attend our Wednesday evening sessions at Grange Road Baptist Church in Darlington between 7.15 - 9.30pm. All new singers are welcome.

All our sessions are led by the popular and well known musical director Bridie Jackson.

All adults (18+) are welcome and no audition is necessary to join our group, and members don’t need to be able to read music. We sing a wide variety of music and have the opportunity to perform at local events throughout the year. You can hear us sing some of our repertoire on our "Listen to Us" page.

Your first 2 sessions are free after that there is a termly membership fee (currently £15) plus a weekly fee of £5 per session (there are 12 sessions in a term). If you wish to pay termly this is curretnly £75. These charges are to cover the cost of printed music, musical director's fees, hire of hall, hire of performance venues etc. Most of our performances also raise money for local charities.
